The Arkaba Walk is a Wild Bush Luxury experience, designed to inspire, immerse and reconnect our guests with the Australian outback.
A fully hosted and expertly guided experience including all meals, snacks and bottomless beverages. Accommodation includes two nights in our exclusive swag bush camps, and two nights at the historic Arkaba Homestead dating back to the 1850’s - a Luxury Lodges of Australia destination..
Operating from March to October each year, it is one of the Great Walks of Australia.
A small group experience shared with a maximum of ten walkers, covering 10-15 kms of terrain per day.
Note: Sleeping accommodation is twin share and bookings with an odd number of guests may be required to share accommodation with another single walker of the same gender.
We recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance including a cancellation policy and emergency medical care. We are happy to provide direction if required.

The Maria Island Walk operates from October to April.
The Maria Island Winter Escape operates from May to August.
Your Wild Bush Luxury experience on the Maria Island Walk includes a collection from your Hobart city hotel to our office, where you'll meet your field guides and fellow walkers. Walking packs and jackets are fitted (if you would like to use our gear) before a 90-minute transfer by road and a short ferry crossing from Triabunna to wildlife-rich Maria Island.
